Cadillac

Over to the Cadillac area Debbie tells me it's Snowfest was a success and Anglers success was up 30 percent with over 190 registered fish. A 25 ¾ inch Walleye was the winner. Pike remains good and the bigger ones are coming from Lake Cadillac but Lake Mitchell is producing more tip-up's. Perch remains decent, crappie is inconsistent and if you want Bluegill you need to fish the bottom. Snow on the trails is reported good but getting there is another story. 8-10 inches of ice on both lakes but it is very slick.

Lake Michigan has been decent for Steelhead using spawn form the pier and spoons while trolling. On the Muskegon River around Bridgeton and Whitehall Pier is decent for Brown Trout. Around Petty's Bayou anglers are reporting decent Perch on the Grand River .
