Over to Raber where Bonnie reports the fishing good for Walleye. This past weekend a 12 year old known as "Walleye Willie" caught a 24 plus inch 5 pound Walleye on his birthday. Pike is also decent and some Perch are also in the mix. Herring have migrated to the back side of Lime Island and are now being caught in Michigan Waters.

Frankfort

Over in the Frankfort area Captain Kris reports the Salmon on Lake Michigan Fantastic, many larger 17-22 pounders in the Mix. Sunrise has been best North of Point Betsie, West Platte Bay has cooled off as warmer water has moved in. Anglers are also seeing a few Lake Trout and Steelhead. This past weekends Bihlman Fishing Tournament saw a 22 plus pound Salmon as the winner and most other boats had at least a 17 pounder weighed in.

On Lake Cadillac and Mitchell, Debbie reports fishing to be real good with many things happening like they should. A mix of Crappie, Perch, Bluegill, Sunfish, Pumpkinseed, Bass and of course Pike the only elusive fish has been the Walleye and are being caught occasionally at night mostly by accident however Debbie says they are definitely keepers when you hook them. In the river Skamania are showing up.

On the Detroit River, frank reports the fishing good to excellent, Walleye are the best they have been and limits can be caught, Bait of choice has been night crawlers. Perch are starting to even out with yellow and white being caught, some from shore and are hitting minnows, Smallmouth Bass are also starting to show up.
