On Lake Cadillac and Mitchell, Butch tells me Panfish success has been good in with many in the 7-9 inch size. Crappie is also real good and a few Walleye and of course the Pike is Great many fish are still in the shallows. Last weekend lots of Bass were caught in a tournament over 600 pounds of bass weighed in. |

Muskegon Area
On Lake Michigan the Salmon are out deep in 170 to 300 feet of water fishing 180-240 feet down an another shelf in 70-120 feet of water fishing 32-47 feet deep, with hard work you can land 7-12 in a half day, bright colored lures with orange accents and glow lures. Inland the Bass has been Decent, Bluegill are on the beds, Perch in the 8-12 inch range have been hammering minnows, Panfish very good on live bait and the Night Walleye anglers are heading out but not reporting on success. |
