Ontonagon Area
In the Ontonagon area on Monday 2-3 feet of fresh snow was dumped and the trails are in great shape however the fishing has been slow partly due to the fact lots of new snow mixed with slush on the ice.

Over to the Gladstone Area Bob reports the Ice on the shoreline is breaking up but there is over 20 inches still on the bay. Overall the fishing has been slow however Perch has been good. |

In Raber Bonnie tells us the area still has snow and the trails are in good shape. Last weekends fishing tournament saw some Perch and Whitefish.

Drummond Island
On Drummond Island the trails are still in rideable shape however the staging areas and intersections/corners are down to dirt. Ice anglers are catching some small Perch on 15 inches of ice. Rabbit hunters continue to report good success. |

Larry reports in the woods there is up to a foot of snow, however with lots of sun the trails are in rough shape. Anglers have reported slow fishing on 8-10 inches of ice but things are sloppy. Weather is predicted cold so the sloppy conditions may firm up this weekend. |

Captain Kris reports things in the "in-between" time. Snowmobiling is done. Anglers are fishing the mouth of the river but no reports on success. Also boats are hitting the open water for Brown Trout and Crystal Lake still has Ice but it is reported treacherous or avoid it entirely.

Rick reports in Oscoda that the Steelhead are in the river, Water is high and few anglers are out right now. Reports of at least one limit on Thursday. The inland lakes are still frozen and anglers are getting Bluegill and Perch on Van Etton Lakes.
