Captain Kris reports Black and White Morels popping up in Thomponsville in good amounts. On Crystal Lake Perch are biting on large minnows in 65 foot of water, he adds Walleye size minnows are working well. On Black River the Suckers have moved out and Trout is quiet, Brown Trout is slow, a few King Salmon and Lake Trout are being landed. Hunters are also reporting some Turkey .

Muskegon Area
In the Muskegon area Bill tells me the Bluegill are in the shallows, Some Salmon are along the Pierheads and around Mona Lake, fish 25-50 feet of water with your bait from the surface to 30 feet down for good action. The lack of rain in the area has led to no reports of mushrooms. |

Lexington Area
In the Lexington Area Brian reports fishing action last weekend was good in Port Sanilac and Lexington in 13-25 feet of water using body baits and spoons to land 6-9 pound King Salmon. Mushroom hunters are reporting a few morels in the area.
