Dear Cheyenne:
I will try to answer your questions the best I can. Here goes:
1) Do you know anything about big game hunting? Yes.
2) What does a big game hunter do? They are just like everyone else with the exception that they hunt big game.
3) Is there a certain time to go big game hunting? During the legal posted season for the particular big game you are going after. Why? If you don't you would be breaking the law.
4) At what age did you start hunting? I have been a hunter all my life for as long as I can remember. It was how I was brought up.
5) Where would be a good place to go big game hunting in your opinion? This is a very general question that could only be better answered after you determine what game you are after, when is the season, how far is the travel, how much you are willing to spend, etc.
6) What is the best firearm that you have found for big game hunting? Again this is a very general question and could only be determined after it is decided what game you are after. When that is decided make sure you have lots of experience with the firearm your going to use and are totally comfortable with it.
7) Do you need a certain license to get a big game tag? Once again this is a very general question depending on where, when and what you are going after, but most likely you can expect the answer is "YES".
8) Is certain bag numbers in certain states? I believe you are asking if certain states have certain bag limits and again this is a general question depending on where, when and what you are going after, but most likely you can expect the answer is "YES".
9) Are there certain regulations in certain states? Again this is a general question but most likely you can expect the answer is "YES".
10) In big game hunting would you say it is dangerous? This is a general question, depending on where, when and what you are going after will provide some expectation of risk. Also the amount of experience you have hunting the area or species will also impact if it is "dangerous". Furthermore the determination of if something is dangerous can be biased or different from person to person. If so why do you do it? This question for me is irrelevant, I hunt to be part of the food chain, I eat what I hunt.
11) Where is the best place to buy a hunting trip? Again this question is general and can't be answered without knowing where, what and when you are hunting. I hope this helps.
Respectfully Outdoors,
Zachary Trost
